Coastal Cleanup day is an international event organized by the Ocean Conservancy. The California Coastal Commission and local non-profit groups partner to plan the cleanup effort across California.
Every year ECOSLO gathers community members to support this event. The Cleanup would not be successful without volunteers just like you! As a volunteer, you remove trash and debris from coastlines and waterways in SLO County as well as collect data that ECOSLO then reports back to the California Coastal Commission. This data is compiled into reports and used to influence policy.
